Prepare an album containing five cereals crops five legumes crops five forage crops with there botanical names attached to each in the album 41.217.19.117 (talk) 22:08, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - although there is significant overlap between the two, much of this has arisen through the use of excerpts from Cereal being used in Grain. I believe that there is merit in establishing a clear consensus of where primary information should lie. With such agreement it whould be possible to establish clear blue water between the two. Cereals are clearly cultivated grass species, whereas Grains can be found across a wide range of plant families. I see no benefit in a merge and many incocistences and confusion arising from a merge. Oppose - this is a non-starter. The most cursory glance at Grain will show that it (correctly) covers many non-cereal crops. The merger would make no sense, and indeed do serious damage. - Chiswick Chap (talk)
